Just finished up on a project that had a total Moebius look to it so I thought I'd do a design with a touch of that sci fi vibe.

During a much needed hard drive cleaning, I came across this old story reel I made as a pass for my graduate film a couple years ago (shit, time flies). While it definitely has some plot holes and I ended up changing it in the end, there is something about the shots that I dig and may steal for other stuff. It's all part of the process...

My buddy Jeff Thompson and myself have been playing around with a short film idea called "Hooligans". I thought I'd wet some beaks with a couple of run cycles from some of the characters (Jeff's tubular designs btw). Looking forward to getting back on this fun little side project when the dust settles

LA: Griffif Observatory

I went to LA a couple weeks back for CTN (Creative Talent Network) and found some time to test out my new camera while checking out Griffith Observatory. Props to my friend Jeff for rocking the red hat!

One of the things I love about city life is you never know where you'll find inspiration. My wife and I were coming out of our neighbourhood video store when this gentleman passed us spilling an endless bag of stale microwaveable popcorn and spurting out death threats to whomever owes him money. What made it funnier is we were seeing spilled popcorn trails all the way home. I guess he's like a modern day drunk asshole Hansel.

There really isn't any sense to be made of this, I just wanted to draw a guy with a cyborg squirrel i guess

Still Kickin' It

Havent posted in a while, been pretty busy with work these past few months, I found some time today to play around with some ideas i had. Might try filming some live action locations and animate over them in the near future. anyways here's a lil something silly. Might do some more stuff with this ghetto blaster guy.

My buddy Kevin Parry directed this music video with Carla Veldman and myself doing animation and design work, it was a load of fun working on it and coming up with scenarios was pretty funny. I'm pretty sure giant robot apocalypse is where we're headed too, enjoy!
